Psychological &
Learning Assessments

2022 is now FULL (no waitlist)

ARE YOU LOOKING TO...

  • better understand why your child is struggling at school and their learning style

  • determine if your child has a learning disability, is gifted, or has ADHD

  • have academic accommodations in place to best support your child in the classroom

  • receive detailed conclusions regarding diagnoses & treatment options

Psychological and psycho-educational assessments are completed under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist upon request. These assessments focus on providing testing, evaluation and intervention for children, adolescents and adults with learning and/or behavioural style differences such as:

  • Reading & Writing

  • Mathematics

  • Language

  • Giftedness

  • Attention Defecits (ADHD)

  • Executive Functioning (Planning, Time Management & Organizational Skills)

  • Memory

  • Mood Disorders

  • Anxiety (Panic, Social Anxiety, OCD, Phobias)

  • Stress Disorder/PTSD

HOW IT LOOKS

Assessments include a 90-minute intake interview with the parents and the child together. Then, there are typically 2-3 blocks of academic, cognitive/memory, attention, and psychological testing across a few different days. Following this extensive testing, the results are later given to you verbally in a feedback session. You will be provided with comprehensive written report which includes all of the findings, detailed treatment recommendations and actionable steps for the school and at-home.
